Fluke is offering a series of free “hands-on” Thermal Imaging Training Seminars during 2008 at locations around the UK and Ireland in which electricians and maintenance technicians can gain hands-on experience of the latest, powerful, easy-to-use, handheld thermal imagers for preventative maintenance. All seminars are based around real case studies: no previous experience is necessary.

In the Fluke Thermal Imaging Training Seminars participants will handle a variety of thermal imagers, including the latest Fluke Ti25, and learn how they can be used as part of a predictive maintenance and condition monitoring programme. Thermography is suitable for a wide range of industrial maintenance applications, and the seminar will provide a special focus on electrical systems and power quality.

Participants will be taken through the benefits (particularly in terms of reduced downtime and consequent cost savings), how to identify potential problems more effectively, how to determine the best troubleshooting strategy, how to be more productive through implementation of that strategy, and how to report the results.

The seminar programme starts on 15th April in Bristol and moves around England, Scotland and Ireland. Attendance is free to pre-registered delegates only. All attendees will receive a free copy of a Fluke DVD and application pack in thermography. The full range of Fluke thermal imaging cameras will be on display and will be available for demonstration. Fluke is also running a series of free Webinars.

The latest Fluke Ti10 and Ti25 Thermal Imagers incorporate IR Fusion®, a patent-pending technology that integrates infrared and visual (visible light) images in full screen or picture-in-picture views for enhanced problem detection and analysis; they both come with easy-to-use analysis and reporting software.
