NICEIC Training’s Domestic Periodic Inspection Reporting course is ideally suited for contractors wishing to improve or refresh their knowledge of Periodic Inspection Reporting (PIR) for existing domestic installations. Based on real scenarios, this interactive course provides the skills needed to carry out an inspection and test of existing domestic electrical installations.

The course is linked to an assessment leading to a certificate of attendance. The programme reiterates current regulatory requirements for domestic properties as well as covering older practices and wiring systems (often found on older properties). It also shows how to correctly compile and then summarise the NICEIC Domestic Period Inspection Report.

Available as either a three-day or two-day option, the three-day course covers all aspects of testing, inspection and reporting procedures. The two-day option covers inspection and reporting procedures and is intended for electricians that feel they are well-versed in testing procedures.
