Legrand Electric has supplied the Britannia Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool with the latest power and distribution equipment.

Replacing the original system, which had served the hotel well for nearly a centuary the new system incorporates a 5.5m long, 2m high freestanding cubicle type switch panel, which required a specially constructed concrete plinth to support its weight. In addition, 12 panel boards and 36 3-phase TP+N b-type boards have been installed.

The new system improves power distribution throughout the building as well as allowing different sections of the hotel to be isolated, meaning maintenance staff can carry out essential work without affecting the entire hotel.
