Schneider Electric highlights solutions to those who want to reduce consumption and lower their carbon footprint
(24/08/2010)
At the Energy Event 2010, Schneider Electric will be offering advice and guidance to visitors on its range of services and technologies to assist with energy management. Anyone visiting the stand will be able to talk to the team of experts about Schneider Electric’s four step approach to energy management – measure, fix the basics, automate and monitor and improve.
Energy audits are an important part of the these four steps, allowing companies to recognise key opportunities to save energy and money, and the team from Schneider Electric will be able to provide more details on this service.
The team will also be discussing demand response, a scheme through which organisations can earn revenue by using their existing back up generators. The increased demand for energy means there are some occasions where supply capacity on the National Grid cannot meet the demand for power. Through Schneider Electric’s demand response service, companies can make additional revenue by reducing their load on the grid to provide spare capacity.
