Tones Ties's website offers a vast choice of cable management products and accessories

Tones Ties Ltd's new website promotes its comprehensive range of cable management products. The company, based in Bearsted in Kent, has upgraded the site to feature some 6,000 products – all available to purchase through a secure e-commerce system – with orders shipped across the UK, as well as to Europe and the rest of the world.

As Tones Ties offers a vast choice of cable management products and accessories, the new website has been carefully designed to be as user-friendly as possible, with multiple drop-down menus used for the various product options such as size, colour, type and finish. Next-day delivery is an option for all products and customers get free UK delivery when they spend over £50.

Established in 1988, Tones Ties Ltd was founded by its Managing Director, Ed Oliver, who worked in the electrical wholesale business for five years before starting Tones Ties. He has since gone on to launch another successful web-based business, thesitebox.com, which offers over 45,000 tools and accessories for professional contractors and home DIY enthusiasts.

Says Ed Oliver, “The key to the success of both Tones Ties and thesitebox.com has been our commitment to customer service. When clients are purchasing goods over the Internet, there’s a natural tendency for the retailer to remain remote from the sale. That’s fine if there are no problems,” continues Ed Oliver, “but if there’s some kind of issue, the customer wants to know about it. We pledge to deliver within 48 hours and, if we’re not going to be able to keep this promise for any reason, we get straight on the ‘phone to the client, offering him a full refund, an alternative product or a later delivery slot. It’s not rocket science,” says Ed, “but it’s surprising just how many on-line retailers forget how important the customer is.”

Tones Ties Ltd supplies cable ties in a range of widths and lengths including plain and coloured nylon cable ties, marker cable ties, panel- or screw-mount cable ties, custom-printed cable ties, releasable cable ties, stainless steel cable ties and velcro cable ties.

In addition, the firm stocks every conceivable type of cable accessory including cable tie accessories – such as self-adhesive bases, cradles, eyelets and masonry mounts – and cable accessories such as clips, saddles, cleats, glands, terminals, markers, sleeving, heat shrink and flexible conduit.
