Power Electrics Generators has recently installed a standby generator for SEC at a south coast Data Centre. Rated at 1500kVA the containerised systems will provide backup power and high level resilience to their clients vitally important data centre hub.

The FG Wilson 1500kVA Prime rated standby generator system was housed in a high integrity 60dBA @ 1m enclosure with a FG Wilson Power Wizard control system. The Power Electrics package also included the supply and installation of a 45,000 litre bunded cylindrical fuel tank, fill point cabinet, interlinking under and above ground plastic pipe in pipe fuel pipe system and water mist fire extinguishing system.

Power Electrics also provided the specialist multi axel low loader delivery, the use of a 350Te crane under full contract lift conditions, positioning and site installation services.

The complete system under went series of comprehensive testing at Power Electrics Bristol facilities prior to shipment. Once on site the generator under went full load testing and integrated building systems testing, prior to being made operationally available to the client.
