Schneider Electric expands Motion and Drives national sales team

Schneider Electric has announced that their Motion and Drives national sales team will double in size, to support the continued growth in this area of the business.

Since its creation in 2009, the Motion and Drives team headed up by Anthony Pickering and Paul Pryor has expanded due to increasing customer demand, which is expected to rise further with the launch of the new Altivar 32.

Paul Pryor, Motion and Drives Product marketing manager said: “Even with difficult trading conditions in the marketplace, we have experienced an exceptional year – this has warranted the significant investment to grow the Motion and Drives team in a short timeframe, in order to focus on providing support to all our customers’ requirements.”

The company’s fully integrated product technologies are revolutionising the future of industrial automations solutions and the new Altivar 32, set to launch at Drives & Controls exhibition in June, is a unique offer from the Motion and Drives team. The Altivar 32 joins the latest generation of the company’s VSDs and is designed to be fully compatible with the space-saving Lexium 32 range of servo motion drives.
