FDB11 and FDB13 electrical protection units feature solid state electronic circuitry for immunity from spurious tripping

The FDB11 and FDB13 electrical protection units from FDB Electrical comprise a complementary series of general purpose earth leakage protection equipment, complete with overload and short circuit protection, and are approved by Network Rail for use in DC Electrified Line Areas.

The FDB11/13 series features solid state electronic circuitry for stability and immunity from spurious tripping. The range features different permutations of rating in voltage ranges of single and 3 phase 110V, 250V, 380/440V TP&N, 50Hz-400Hz and current ratings of 10A to 60A. Rated tripping currents of 20 mA, 30 mA and 100 mA are available dependent upon application. Integral RCD is to BS/4293 where applicable and MCB to BSEN/60898 (Type C Characteristic).

Standard units are supplied in steel, surface mounting enclosures to IP20 protection with RCD test button and MCB toggle accessible at front, other types of enclosures available.
