UPS Systems plc has signed an agreement with Gamatronic to supply its new modular Mega Power+ UPS, which offers maximum power, control and efficiency. The Gamatronic Mega Power+ has the ability to save users over £4,000 per year when compared to a conventional UPS.

The Mega Power+ modular UPS is designed to grow in line with a company’s power requirements. It is available in up to ten linked 25 kVA modules to supply a total power output of up to 250 kVA. Furthermore it is available in two versions – the first in Gamatronic’s unique design, and the second able to fit into a standard 19-inch rack for complete flexibility.

It boasts a number of user benefits including:
• Complete reliability through N+1 parallel redundancy
• Proven Ac/Ac efficiency of 96%
• Reduced heat dissipation to substantially reduce cooling costs
• High density – 1,100 VA/Kg
• Self-serviceable with hot swap modules to reduce downtime
• Double conversion
• Overall greener and cleaner power
