VPhase's free training for installers demonstrates a step-by-step installation of its voltage optimisation device
(23/03/2010)
VPhase plc is offering free 2-3 hour workshops every month across the country to demonstrate a step-by-step installation of its voltage optimisation device and provide expert technical advice.
Recent trial results, independently verified by EA Technology, have shown savings in electricity consumption of between 6% and 12%. EA Technology has confirmed that these reductions could save the respective homeowners between £75 and £135 per year on their annual electricity bills. This equates to carbon savings of 390 to 708 kg per annum. This depends on the incoming voltage to each property and the type of appliances in the house. VPhase works by reducing and stabilising the incoming voltage to homes and managing it to a stable level, normally 220V in the UK.
The training workshops will demonstrate how the maintenance-free unit can be easily fitted by a qualified electrician within an hour. As well as receiving hands-on training, installers will be offered a 10% discount on any single unit purchased on the day and will be provided with supporting marketing literature for their customers
VPhase CEO Dr. Lee Juby comments: “The best time to fit a VPhase unit is when fitting a new consumer unit, but it can also be retro-fitted. We have tested the product on a wide range of household appliances and many will work more efficiently and use less electricity at a much lower voltage. Based on our back-to-back tests, on appliances such as fridges and freezers a VPhase unit can deliver a massive saving of 17%, incandescent light bulbs can show savings of 15%, and even energy saving light bulbs can save 10% with VPhase. Once installed it requires no maintenance. It’s simply a matter of fit, forget and save money instantly.”
A VPhase unit costs £250 + VAT (RRP) and is available online or from your local distributor.
