Seaward has produced a special training and demonstration film for its new PowerPlus 1557 high performance multi function electrical installation tester. Available online, the 5 minute film provides a step by step operational guide to the new tester which automatically records test and inspection information directly onto built-in electronic copies of 17th edition certificates as the electrical tests are performed.

Because it's an intelligent tester, the onboard data validation checks for blanks fields or invalid measurements ensuring that only the correct information goes into the right certificate field

The presentation demonstrates how installation information can be pre-loaded onto the electronic certificates before testing and how easily the completed test and inspection certification data stored in the tester can be transferred directly to PC records via Bluetooth connectivity.

The built-in certificates include Electrical Installation Certificate, Periodic Inspection Report and Minor Works Certificate for domestic and commercial site. Test data can be overprinted onto documentation supplied by the ECA, NAPIT and NICEIC or used on standard IEE 17th Edition Certificates.
