Mains power distribution across outlying areas of military and civil airfields poses its own specific problems of environmental, security and electrical protection for maintenance personnel. The need for maintenance crews to get significant amounts of electrical power to outlying areas with safety requires both a high quality housing and a well designed electrical protection system.

FDB Electrical have found that these requirements are ideally met by their stainless steel power cubicles, either in standard or custom configurations.

FDB Power Cubicle specifications feature 250A incomers with 50-400Hz dual circuit output and 200A power outlet sockets, all with full RCD/MCCB and earth monitoring protection. The housings themselves are fabricated in stainless steel to IP65 protection levels for dust/water ingress, together with rugged use stainless steel locks.

External dimensions are 900mm x 1000mm x 300mm and custom finishes in RAL colours are available.
