Chloride completes acquisition of Emergency Power Systems

Chloride has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Emergency Power Systems plc, a national provider of standby power solutions and services.
Emergency Power Systems will continue to operate as a standalone business, and Derek W Plowright, the former owner, will continue as Managing Director along with the existing management team structure to ensure a seamless transition into the Chloride Group.
Based in Sheffield and Glasgow, Emergency Power Systems plc is renowned for high quality performance and problem solving through innovative design. It manufactures fully integrated standby power products for emergency lighting, UPS and Diesel Generators, typically utilised in complex and demanding applications in Rail, Defence, Government, Retail, Healthcare and Industrial Sectors.
