New ISP Duct Sealing System fills all the gaps and openings New ISP Duct Sealing System fills all the gaps and openings - news feed from the Electrical News Portal
(02/07/2009)

ISP, the manufacturer of Resin Filled Cable Jointing Kits for the Electrical industry, have launched a Duct Sealing System, which is based on a unique specially formulated expanding resin. This together with a special Conical cap, which can even be fitted in existing situations, fills all the gaps and openings, irrespective of the shape or the diameter of the Cable or Duct .

This sealant has a relatively limited expansion, which results in a high density “Closed Cell” structure, thereby extremely high hydrolysis resistance is possible against water and gas.

The sealant also has excellent mechanical strength with no shrinkage, because it resists the forces applied to the cable or pipe due to the movement of the ground.

This special sealant is packed in a self contained two part bag, with an enclosed screw type nipple, so the sealant is dispensed from a completely closed system.
