MWA Technology, based in Aston, was established in 2003 by Martin Wardell from Sutton Coldfield. The company is now on the brink of breaking through the £2 million sales barrier.

Over 10,000 gas turbine meters alone have been sold by MWA, which also supplies water, steam, oil, electricity, energy/heat meters and ancillary metering equipment to over 500 customers throughout the UK.

The latest company appointments are: Steve Morris as sales and marketing manager and Denis Hirons as technical manager, both with strong management experience in the meter industry.

“Steve and Denis’s appointments come at an exciting time in our company’s development,” explained Martin Wardell. “They join us as the company is gearing up for major growth and their experience and know how will be an important factor in helping us move to another level. I’m not an athlete but to achieve annual sales of 10,000 meters per year in five years, is no mean feat.”

MWA Technology meters have found their way into national venues and institutions from London’s Kew Gardens, Royal Albert Hall and Broadgate Tower to Birmingham’s Town Hall, the National Indoor Arena and many more.
