Free ELECSA open evenings for 17th Edition and Part P sessions
(19/06/2008)
ELECSA has added more dates to its series of 17th Edition and Part P open evenings. With a choice of locations around the country, the free sessions are held in the evening and are an ideal opportunity to keep up to speed with the latest electrical regulations.
ELECSA operates a choice of full or defined scope schemes. Full scope is ideal for fully qualified electricians whose main business is electrical installation work. Defined scope is suited to those businesses that do an element of electrical work in the course of their main business ie kitchen/bathroom fitters, builders, heating engineers and plumbers.
ELECSA technical staff and assessors are available to answer any questions and provide expert advice on working to the latest guidelines. A full list of all the seminars can be found online, where there is also an online booking system.
ELECSA is currently the 3rd largest Part P scheme, with approximately 3,100 members. The ELECSA scheme aims to make Part P hassle free, allowing tradesmen to concentrate on their day-to-day work. It’s also competitively priced, costing just £360+vat for an online application.
Membership includes free technical advice and support, along with access to a range of benefits such as low-cost works notification and a customer warranty scheme.
Managing and Operations Director for ELECSA Steve Mitchell said ‘since the 17th Edition was published in January our open evenings have proved popular with electrical contractors who are looking to gain a simple overview of the new regulations. With the regulations becoming mandatory from July 1st, it’s even more important to get up to speed with the latest changes.’
