Schneider Electric wins MoD contract(13/09/2007)
Schneider Electric has won its largest ever contract from the UK Ministry of Defence. Worth £1.3 million, the contract covers the supply of equipment to refurbish the ageing MV and LV electrical distribution installations at 14 military bases within the Defence Estates Regional Prime Contract Central Region. Greater durability for Evolis vacuum circuit breakers(16/07/2007)
The Evolis vacuum circuit breakers used in GenieEvo Medium Voltage switchgear from Merlin Gerin, a brand of Schneider Electric, have now been enhanced to offer even greater durability. The new units now have a mechanical endurance of 20,000 switching operations, twice that of their predecessors.
