BS EN 954-1 standard can be used for another three years

For many years BS EN 954-1 has been followed for presumption of conformity to the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC. Schneider Electric helps machine builders meet the requirements of the updated standards

Despite their recent decision to allow machine builders to continue using the standard for a further three years, the EC has made a turnaround in its decision to extend the period in which EN 954-1 can be used.
