Fluke launches money saving electrical installation test kit
(14/02/2007)
Fluke is offering a rugged Electricians Kit which provides a complete solution to all installation test requirements, including those for Part P. Containing an installation tester, a 2-pole tester, a socket tester and Part P certificates, the kit offers a substantial cash saving over purchase of the products individually.
The Fluke 1652/PKit comprises: a Fluke 1652 Multifunction Installation Tester, which tests to the requirements of BS7671 IEE 16th Edition wiring regulations and offers automatic RCD testing and a remote probe; a Fluke T120 2-pole Tester, which features a digital LCD display and LED bargraph to measure voltages from 12V to 690V AC/DC, and a patented three-phase rotation detection system; a Fluke SM200 Socket Tester, featuring 3 vivid bi-colour LEDs, which indicate missing earth, live/earth reverse, live/neutral reverse, missing neutral or live faults, and a buzzer which changes sound in the event of a fault being detected: and Fluke TD07 Part P certificates.
The Fluke 1652 carries out primary tests of voltage, frequency, continuity, insulation resistance, loop impedance, PSC and PFC tests. It uses a unique and patented advanced loop measurement technology to prevent electronic and passive type RCDs from tripping during earth-loop testing, whilst also giving highly consistent and repeatable results.
It is easy to operate and features a large backlit display with a wide viewing angle. Worn on a neck-strap, its ergonomic design, low weight and intuitive user interface make it an ideal tool for comfortable testing. Safe usage is enhanced with a built-in live voltage indicator.
The Fluke 1652/PKit kits can be purchased from Fluke authorised wholesalers and distributors.
