Aggreko plc has announced that it has been appointed by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) to be the exclusive supplier of temporary energy services for London 2012 and in the process becomes a tier three sponsor of London 2012. Aggreko provided the power for Channel 4’s live game show event, The Million Pound Drop Live. The hit show, presented by Davina McCall, aired every night between Monday May 24th and Saturday May 29th 2010 and was produced by Remarkable Television, an Endemol company, which also produces Deal or No Deal. Aggreko invests in specialist delivery vehicles to further improve its operations(20/11/2009)
Aggreko is investing £520,000 in new specialist delivery vehicles for its Bristol service centre to further improve its operations throughout the south-west. Two Scania 480bhp R series CR19 trucks have been acquired to enable the company to provide fast delivery of temporary power generators, electrical distribution and temperature control equipment for customers.
